Intentional Goals: How to get BIG results this year and feel GOOD in the process

 

I’ve found that the fastest way to accomplish BIG things in my business has been to get REAL specific about the way I set goals.

I’m a BIG believer in being incredibly intentional about my goal setting and my approach to goals is very different to most.

I sometimes feel like traditional goal setting makes us feel REALLY far from our goals and I think this is such a big reason as to why so many of us often feel quickly deflated and unmotivated if we don’t hit those goals in record time.

I’ve experienced this myself and I see it with my clients ALL the time.

We tend to make ourselves WRONG or not good enough if we’re not smashing those goals at a crazy speed.

And whilst we can THINK that this pressure to constantly be achieving motivates us, in my experience I often see it have the opposite effect.

So I’d love to invite you to explore how you can begin to set more intentional goals as we move into 2019!

I’m going to share with you the Mindset, Messaging and Momentum strategies you can apply to set yourself up to create intentional goals that work to get you BIG results this year!


Mindset

If you know me at all you’ll know that I believe deeply in the power of mindset work and intentions. Goal setting is no different.

I highly recommend that you take some time to remind yourself and journal on WHY you really want to achieve your goal.

Because, ultimately what we’re really seeking comes down to a FEELING.

I find that when we can focus on the feeling of what it is we want and remind ourselves that we can bring that feeling in NOW, the goal suddenly feels so much more exciting, doable and rewarding in the process.

And when we make ourselves an energetic match for what we want by already embracing the feeling of what we desire it becomes SO much easier to draw that very thing in literally attract our goals towards us!


Messaging

Our language that we use is a direct reflection of our beliefs.

(Now hang with me here for a sec, I promise this will make sense).

The moment I stopped “trying” and “wanting” specific goals or desires was the moment that I took full responsibility for my results and empowered myself to stop trying and start receiving

The energy of wanting is the energy of not having.

When we “want” things or when we “try” to achieve things we create distance between us and the result and we energetically repel it. Our brain automatically focuses on the gap of not having rather than the millions of ways that we can begin to draw in that very thing!

Instead to telling yourself (or others) what you want, I HIGHLY recommend you start claiming it now as yours.

For example if you want to book out your 1:1 program this year… start to claim it as it’s already on its way to you and I promise you’ll begin to receive more insights, solutions and options that will enable you to draw that very thing in.

One way I like to do this is by practicing gratitude for the very thing that I’m desiring. Every am I do my gratitude practice and then I begin to write down how grateful I am for the goals that I know I’m already drawing in towards me.

Loves, I was just reflecting on all the goals I had this year that I expressed genuine gratitude for and I’ve literally received every.single.one.

This stuff works!


Momentum

One of my favourite ways to bring in big results from intentional goal setting is a super practical and simple tools.

I take some time to sit down and reflect on past evidence of when I’ve achieved big goals in my business or in other aspects of my life to remind myself that OF COURSE I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.

Its so simple that most people write it off, but it’s a great way to remind your brain that you’re literally a magical unicorn that can be, do and have ANYTHING you desire.

And reflecting on how you’ve done this in other aspects of your life is a fantastic way to strengthen that belief and grow your confidence in your magical badass self!  

I truly hope you take the time to implement this three simple but INCREDIBLY powerful strategies so that you can set yourself up to get mind-blowing results this year in your business without the stress, the hustle and whilst actually feeling GOOD!
